Gold: Trailer Released, will hit theaters on 15th August

Gold is an upcoming Bollywood movie based on historical sports drama. This movie has been directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner.

It stars Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh and Amit Sadh (Remember him from Amazon Prime’s orinigal series “Breath”?). A historical sports drama inspired by India’s first Olympic gold medal. The film traces the “golden era” of Indian hockey through the journey of Tapan Das, a young assistant manager in 1936, who dreams of playing for an independent nation.
